Our Process

Your initial phone call to Apple Wood Construction will be returned within 24 business hours to schedule a consultation appointment. We pride ourselves on prompt and honest service. During your initial meeting, we will discuss your home remodeling project and renovation ideas. We will take initial measurements and discuss any questions you may have. We can also go over ideas and concerns that you may not have thought of. We will then put together an estimate for your home remodeling project and set up a second appointment to go over it with you so we can address any questions or concerns that you may have. With final details agreed upon, a contract will be drawn up, a deposit will be required, and your remodeling project will be scheduled. Unlike many other contractors, we do unique payment schedules tailored to every home remodeling project. This way, you are paying for work as it is being done and only paying for it once it’s started. We pride ourselves on honesty, integrity and attention to detail. As homeowners ourselves, we try our best to complete your home renovations with as little disruption to your home and lives as possible.

STEP ONE: Initial first showroom appointment:
Set up a 60-90 minute visit to our showroom. See and touch our vignettes as we discuss your vision for your new project. Get to know us as we share our company story. We will show you photographs of past projects and give you a hands on experience as we show you our attention to detail. You will experience the craftsmanship and the quality products our clients are looking for.

STEP TWO: Professional in-home consultation and measurements. This visit will analyze if the ideas discussed in the first appointment are possible. There is a $500.00 design fee required at this time as actual measurements will be taken by our craftsman in your space to determine what is possible and start the design phase. This fee will be applied towards your cabinet purchase if you decide to award us your project.

STEP THREE: To move forward a visit to the showroom is required. The appointment goals are:

STEP FOUR: Another appointment will be scheduled in the showroom to go over the pricing and answer any questions you may have.

After this – if we have reached your budget and expectations, the only thing waiting to start your dream kitchen renovation is to sign contracts.

Lenny Santosuosso, owner of Santosuosso & Sons Construction was the contractor who installed our kitchen cabinets and managed our remodeling project. He did an outstanding job of not only demolishing/rebuilding our kitchen and bath, but also overseeing all aspects of the entire remodel. We were looking into removing our bath tub/shower and have just a shower installed. After much shopping around we came across a Swanstone shower we loved. We were told that Santosuosso and Sons Construction would be ideal for installing. So a few days after the initial phone call, I met Lenny. Right from the start I had a good feeling that this was the right person for the job. He told us what needed to be done, the order things would be done and how long it should take. Lenny is very dedicated and has a great work ethic. Once the job was completed and I got to see the shower I was very pleased. When my wife got home she was delighted with her new shower. Thank you for your excellent kitchen remodeling and follow up call. Every aspect from your dad's measuring, Lenny's direction and construction, and Lisa's communication throughout and after the project, was flawless. Having your company schedule the electrician, plumber, granite, and tile kept the project on time even though we had to leave for a few days for a grandchild's birth. Our first experience with Santosuosso & Sons was as the primary contractor for a one-story, 16' x 16' addition to our home.
